Heppelthwaite – Green Building Solutions have been in operation since 2010. The division was formed as a specialist division to the Evans Group that would be dedicated to renewable energy solutions.

Our sister company Heppelthwaite – The Red Van Plumbers is a division dedicated to plumbing and gas heating services. Both companies are part of the Evans Group.

The Evans Group have approximately 100 staff across all 5 divisions. Heppelthwaite employ approximately 25-30 operatives, and have a dedicated customer care team to handle all types of requirements.

Heppelthwaite have always invested in people through on-going training and encouraging the development of individual career paths. Throughout the Evans Group, we have an impressive employment history that has seen staff remain within the company for many years, and in some cases for the entirety of their careers.

Our apprenticeship scheme introduces and develops new talent. This has served us well with a growing team of excellent young talent that’s guided by our long serving and senior engineers, some who started themselves as apprentices over 25 years ago.

All our operatives are experienced, equipped and fully trained; they all drive tracked vehicles, are CRB checked and carry identification. The majority of engineers are employed and we do not use agency staff. This way we can control and ensure the quality of our workmanship and service.

We take pride in our ability to retain the best engineers as our long term service awards demonstrate. Developing a team of engineers that understands the company and what we stand for means that we continue to maintain old fashioned values but ensure we’re at the forefront of the plumbing, heating and renewable energy industry.
